It serves its purpose. Installed for an elderly woman and she is very pleased.

This is fairly easy to install. I do wish they had included two sizes of screws (a longer size), as I did replace a few of them with longer screws. I have wood behind the dry wall, but the screws did not quite reach to grab well enough.My complaint is that the handrail is not super tight when attached to the plate. I screwed those screws in as tight as they could go, and it still wiggles with some pressure (see video). The plate is also screwed into the wall as tight as it will go as well. For me the is not a big issue, but for my elderly parents, they are putting a lot of force on the handle as they come down the steps, and it is not feeling so secure for them. I may have to keep my eyes out for another option in the future.
